Addis International Catering (AIC) is a leading service provider for prestigious international airlines such as Emirates, Qatar Airways, Egypt Air, Kenya Airways, Saudia and Fly Dubai as well as major global private business jet and VIP charter operators.
The company also provides event and contracted catering and related services to embassies, schools, government and private organizations, businesses and individuals in the local market.

We operate out of Bole International Airport in a state of the art catering facility with easy access to the Airport as well as the city and are currently inviting high caliber candidates to fill in the below vacant position:

 

  1. Sous Chef

Job Summary: Responsible for the planning, supervising, conducting and monitoring of the daily preparation, production, and/ or plating of meals according to customer’s specifications and AIC standard. Assist the entire main kitchen team in the operation of the section and implements the instruction of the Executive Chef.

Qualification: Education Diploma/Certificate in Food Preparation

Experience: 5 years relevant supervisory experience in Food/Hotel Industry

Skills:

  • Professional command in English (verbal and written)
  • Fully conversant with HACCP principles
  • Able to manage customer demand within short notice
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Computer proficient
  • Superior Leadership and Supervisory skills
  1. CDP/ Chief De Parties

Job Summary: Executes daily preparation, production of meals according to customers’ specifications and AIC standards. Assists Sous Chef in the operation of the section and implements the instruction of the Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef.

Qualification:

Education Diploma/Certificate in Food Preparation

Experience Four years relevant experience with good hygiene knowledge

Skills

  • Good English Communication Skills
  • Knowledgeable in Food Hygiene
  • With Strong.Interpersonal Skills
  • With strong Customer Service Skills
  • Computer Proficient DCP/Demi Chief De Parties

Job Summary: Executes daily preparation, production of meals according to customers’ specifications and AIC standards. Assists Sous Chef/CDP in the operation of the section and implements the instruction of the  Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef.

Qualification:

Education Diploma/Certificate in Food Preparation

Experience Three years relevant experience with good hygiene knowledge

Skills

  • Good English Communication Skills
  • Knowledgeable in Food Hygiene
  • With Strong Interpersonal Skills
  • With strong Customer Service Skills
  • Computer Proficient
  1. Cook II

Job Summary: Executes daily preparation, production of meals according to customers’ specifications and AIC standards. Assists DCP/Cook I in the operation of the section and implements the instruction of the Executive Sous Chef, Sous Chef and Production Manager.

Qualification: Education High School Completion & Certificate in Food Preparation

Experience Two years relevant experience with good hygiene knowledge

Skills

  • Good English Communication Skills
  • Knowledgeable in Food Hygiene
  • With Strong Interpersonal Skills
  • With strong Customer Service Skills
