Job Description:

The Bank would like to invite competent and qualified candidates to apply for the following positions to be hired on permanent basis:

Job Position: Senior Human Resource Management Officer

Essential Functions

  • Involve in the development and amendment of human resource policy, procedure, manual and guidelines
  • Makes professional contribution to the existence of proper organizational structure, job description, job grades and job specification
  • Participate in the implementation of personnel policies and strategies and resolves procedural problems arising from their applications
  • Make career development of staff and or succession planning
  • Studies employee satisfaction, turnover, absenteeism, other personnel issues and identifies root causes and proposes solution options
  • Handles employee grievances, disciplinary issues and other administrative problems when necessary
  • Advice on the proper implementation of the rules and regulations on employee benefits policy and procedure manual
  • Analyze and Propose benefit issues that needs study and amendments
  • Design to implement career development structure and succession planning programs
  • Initiates or suggests plans to motivate employees to achieve desired goals and objectives
  • Evaluate and analyses the current performance of employee evaluation system and propose better systems,
  • Design to implement team development exercises on staff events and related meetings when necessary
  • Advise and Support on employee relations matters to ensure effective management practices, include: disciplinary, grievances and performance issues.
Job requirements: BA degree in Human Resources Management. Management, Business Administration Leadership, or other related fields with 5.5 years of experience or MBA/MA in the same field with 3.5 years of relevant experience preferably in banking industry, of which at least 2 years as a relevant officer position.
Place of work: Addis Ababa

Salary: as per the Bank’s scale
