Ahadukes Food Product S.C. is a manufacturing company primarily engaged in food products, Biscuits and Pasta in Bishoftu town of Oromia state. It is a joint investment between Ahadu P.L.C & UK based Vasari investment Group. We hence, invite qualified applicants for Safety Health & Environment Officer position.

Role purpose general: Ahadukes Food Product S.C. seeks Safety Health & Environment Officer responsible for monitoring & assessing hazardous and unsafe  situation and developing measures to assure personal safety; Correct unsafe acts and conditions through the regular line of authority; Exercise emergency authority to prevent or stop unsafe acts when immediate action required;  Ensures safety messages in each incident action plan etc.

Qualification:

• University graduate with degree of Bachelor of Art in Occupational Health and safety, Risk Management & Insurance, Environmental science

Experience:

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in related field. It is preferable to have experience as safety officer in manufacturing company preferably in Food Product.

Knowledge skills, attitude & attributes

• Well developed and proven communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Mature person and team player.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to enforce adherence to safety policies
• Good knowledge of safety & health policies, procedure and program.
• Computer literacy in MS office applications with a working knowledge of excel.
