Job Description:

Yom Institute of Economic Developments (YIED) is a legally registered and recognized higher education institute. In addition, the institute provides short term courses and short-term trainings at community organization levels. Now, the institute wants to employ well qualified and experienced Personnel for the following positions.

1. Position: Quality Assurance Office Head

Educational Level: MSc/MA in Educational Management, Language and Social Sciences and related fields from recognized university
Work experience: a minimum of 5 years and above relevant experience
Place of work: Addis Ababa
Salary: As per the Company Scale
Appointment: Permanent

Major Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain and enhance quality in the institution; Implement quality standards; Work as per the quality guidance manual; Help in research and development; Compile & file reports and report if any flaws were found; Coordinate with all the other Most Importantly, follow the procedure completely which automatically ensures the quality of services.

2. Position: Research Coordinator

Educational Level: MA/MSc degree in Social Sciences, Education, Languages and related fields from a recognized University
Work experience: a minimum of 4 years and above relevant experience
Work place: Addis Ababa
Salary: As per the Company Scale
Appointment: Permanent
Number: 01 (One)

Major Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, implement & publish research works, identify priority areas & conduct community services, initiate, plan & carry out short-term trainings for government & NGO’s at national & regional levels. Coordinate meetings, press conferences, and workshops; Compiles best practice documentations for dissemination & knowledge Management; Writes content for both print and Web including the institute’s website, blog, brochures, and newsletter; Plan and Facilitate periodic publications and research related publications
