Duties:
- Responsible for end-to-end accounts payable processes for Unilever Ethiopia and low volume of transactions in Djibouti entity.
- Ensuring all key performance metrics are achieved monthly including payment on time and Purchase Order compliance in Ethiopia as per the Global Unilever policy.
- Reconciling vendor statements and maintaining liaison with suppliers to ensure payments are made promptly and accounts stay current
- Responsible for Foreign vendor’s payment settlement, accounting and reconciliation. Specifically, all CAD and TT payments.
- Accountable for timely and accurate Bank open item (BOI) clearing in liaison with offshore outsourced third-party service providers.
- Accountable to monitor the timely expensing of travel and related advances in line with the control framework.
- Ensure effective, time and accurate Month-end close (MEC) for areas touching on PTP in line with the global calendar.
- Providing information and offering support to different audit requirements, including Internal Audits, External Audits, Corporate Audits and Tax Audits.
- Regularly communicate with shared service teams and operating centers to ensure PTP service level agreements (SLAs) are met month on month.
- Check and review dashboard metrics and KPIs that are achieved in accordance with the Global Controls Framework.

Qualification:
Education:
- University Graduate in Finance or a business-related field.
- Professional qualifications CPA/ACCA.
Experience:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience with at least 2 years as a Team Lead or Supervisor in a PTP role within a multinational manufacturing company.
- Good communicator, able to influence a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience with ERP systems like SAP.
- Self-drive and agile.
