Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA)

ADRA Ethiopia is non-political and not-profit International Non-Government- Organization working in Ethiopia since 1982 implementing relief and multi-sectoral development projects in different regions of Ethiopia. ADRA Ethiopia has been expanding its operational presence in different region of the country. Currently, ADRA Ethiopia is looking for individuals who will fill up the following vacant posts for ADRA Ethiopia projects -“The “Green TVET” project in Adama of Oromia Region and Mekele, Tigry Region funded by ADRA Germen

1. Position: Project Manager
Person needed: One
Duty Station: Mekele
Requirements:

  • MA degree in Education or other relevant field from recognized institutes (Minimum of 5 years of direct related working experience on Vocational
  • Education out of this 3 years’ experience on TVET programs and Renewable Energy) and as a Project Manager
  • Familiarity TVET Programs and working with Education office and TVET agencies
  • Experience In managing complex multi-year development projects
  • Knowledge of working with multi stockholders
  • Knowledge of project cycle and standardised report writing skill
2. Position: Project Officer
Person needed: One
Duty Station: Mekele
Requirements:
  • Degree in Education or other relevant field from recognized institutes (minimum of 3 years of direct related working experience on Vocational Education out of these 2 years experience on TVET programs and Renewable energy)
  • Knowledge of Computer programming and data encoding packages (SPSS, SMART)
  • Knowledge of project cycle and report writing skill.
3. Position: Admin Ass/ Cashier
Person needed: Two
Duty Station: Adama & Mekele
Requirements:
  • Diploma In accounting
  • 2 years of direct related working service in NGO
  • Knowledge of computer and working experience (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access,..) and computerized accounting program
  • Knowledge of English (verbal and writing)
4. Position: Project Finance Officer
Person needed: Two
Duty Station: Adama & Mekele
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting or other relevant field from recognized institutes (minimum of 4 years of direct related working experience In NGO.
  • Knowledge of Computer based accounting programming Sun+, IPAS, Peachtree and other with practical experience
  • Knowledge clean financial reporting and auditing

Salary and Benefits: According to the Agency scale
