Job Title

Project Manager for Copper Exploration Project in West Haraghe ,Oromia

Job Requirement

Education:MSc/BSc in Geology,10/12 years direct work experience in the field(Business Orinted Mineral Exploration)

Experience:At least 4 years in project manager position

Additional Training

Valid Certificate of Professional Competency from MoM for “Reconnaissance, Exploration and feasibility study  pertaining to Geology Consultancy service  for any mineral

Required No.01

• Here Under is must ,Duties and Responsibilities for the aforementioned position:-
• Willing and fit to carry out mineral exploration operation under rugged rock hilly and mountainous terrain ,sometimes :all fours: required
• Execute the exploration work as per the approved work program by MoM
• Ensure timely shipment of samples to analytical laboratories
• Conduct Comprehensive Geological and Geo chemical Mapping and produce relevant standard Maps & sections
• Analyze and interpret Geo chemical samples lab results
• Produce quarterly and annual exploration works reports to acceptable standard as per the mineral directives of MoM
• Be responsible to determine area to be relinquished and be retained to apply for the renewal of explorations license and responsible to produce all relevant required documents for License renewal
• Employ temporary personnel from the exploration areas as needed for the proper execution of work programs
• Manage all project resources
• Easily communicate with the local community of the area (Afan Oromo)
