Main Responsibilities:The project coordinator provides overall technical leadership and oversight to the project implementation in the targeted region and Woreda. The project coordinator for FEAPD is responsible for project initiation, Identification, preparation implementation monitoring and evaluation. The project coordinator actively involves in the implementation of ongoing projects, development and execration of new ones

2.Job position:Social Inclusion Project Officer

 Education and Experience:BA or MA degree in sociology, Social work, Psychology, Special needs Education and other related fields of studies

  • Relevant Experience in project and disability
  • 2 years for MA ,4Years for BA
  • Knowledge of Oromifa language
  • NGO experience is advantageous

 Required No.1

 Main Responsibilities:The  project Officer is responsible for Planning, organizing ,implementing project activities in Addis Ababa and Regions.s/he is responsible for the capacity building of DPOs and lobbying government sector offices towards disability inclusive development endeavors among other responsibilities

3.Job position:Community/Social Facilitators

Minimum Education and Experience:TVET Level 4 ,Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Sociology, Social Work ,Psychology and related field

  • 2 years’ relevant experience in Social inclusion and disability projects, for TVET L4 and Diploma,0 Experience for BA
  • Fluency in English both speaking and writing
  • Able to speak and write local language
  • NGO experience is advantageous

Main Responsibilities:Among other community facilitator will be responsible for: Mobilize community in implementation of the project activities, Facilitates target groups selection, Creates stages through implementation and management stage. Ensures that the plan at Woreda/kebele level is prepared with full participation of the community action plan(CAP) preparation: In collaboration with his/her supervisor, support in training need identification: Work with community leaders, elders and government staff and acts as a catalyst; Provides technical and organizational assistance to beneficiary persons with disabilities :prepares daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly plans on her/his activities ;prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and submit it to her/his supervisor ; support and facilitates community experience sharing sessions .Communication skill, good human relations ,willingness to travel in rural areas

4.Job position:Finance Officer

Minimum Education and Experience:BA degree in Accounting with excellent skill in accounting software.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as project accountant
  • NGO experience is advantageous

Main Responsibilities: Finance officer among other regular tasks will be responsible for planning project finances & cash flows, auditing financial documents and procedures.Reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payment and returns. The officer also provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports. Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by complying and analyzing account information .Documents financial transaction by entering account information.

5.Job position:Senior Legal Expert

Minimum Education and Experience:Masters or LLB Degree in law or equivalent qualification

  • Knowledge of project management cycle
  • Relevant Experience
  • 2 year for Masters
  • 5 year for LLB degree
  • Understanding of the civil society organization and political parties trends that are currently prevent in Ethiopia.
  • Ability to perform effectively under high pressure, hardship conditions and long working hours
  • Fluent in Amharic and English languages (speaking, listening ,writing)
  • NGO experience is advantageous

Main Responsibilities:The Senior legal expert will be responsible ,among others, To provides necessary legal services FEAPD ,to deal with issues arising out of the implementation of the Rules of procedure of FEAPD in the light of other binding legal instruments of the country, To follow up on the implementation of all decision of the federation,To maintain coordination and liaison among and between partners.Legal counsel and other relevant offices ;To ensure that FEAPD is informed on developments of laws especially those related to the progress of its aims and goals ,To prepare or review and finalize letters, speeches, statements and addresses to be delivered by FEAPD on legal issues with proper articulation of the law :research Sources ,analyze information and present findings of disability laws on national and international level for review ;Review legal documents ,instruments ,or other material of FEAPD, identify important issues ,similarities and  in consistence  ,initiate, follow up and  coordinate different agreements entered by FEAPD with other partners, donors, governmental and non-governmental bodies and civic society organizations on any ground, Advise on the harmonization and coordination of legal strategies and polices, Advice the organization on legal issues, Prepare contracts, represent the federation on court and other necessary issues ,deliver and receive legal documents to and from courts and other authorities….etc

6. Job position:Admin and Finance Officer

Minimum Education and Experience:BA Degree in Accounting ,Finance ,Public or Business Administration, or related field

  • Minimum of 3 years on Admin/finance position
  • Excellent knowledge of Oromifa, English and Amharic language’s in speaking & writing
  • NGO experience is advantageous

Main Responsibilities:The Administrative/Finance Officer establishes and Maintains efficient administrative systems and control mechanisms to support the smooth running of the operation and ensures compliances with administrative, human resources and financial rules and procedures

RESPONSIBLITES INCLUDE: Manage the day-to-day human resource, financial and administrative (including staff safety and security) functions of the office, Ensure compliance with financial internal controls, and ensure that transactions are processed and assets managed in accordance with FEAPD Rules and Regulations, prepare monthly/annual accounts closure, including bank reconciliations and submission of timely and accurate reports, Develop and monitor field office budgets, Oversee recruitment and  appointments of staff, and administers field  staff entitlements and claims, Provide training and advice on human resource, financial and administrative issues, Support the office on audit ,financial risk  management and fraud prevention issues.

Main Responsibilities:Administrering and controlling use of approved budget for the  project ,Carrying out budget utilization comparison periodically as per the directives and controlling  expenditure against ,Following up the receipt of budget fund ,donor fund appropriateness of requests for the payment before passing for approval ,Preparing  payment vouchers for approval of concerned official, and Follow up of daily cash position. Handle office secretarial activates (typing, receiving and sending mails and letters, drafting letters, handle calls and routine office activates)

Minimum Education and Experience: Completion of high school Grade 10/12

  • Have vocational training in Auto mechanics
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in driving 4WD field vehicles
  • 3rd grade driving license
  • Good knowledge of preventive maintenance
  • NGO experience is advantageous

Main Responsibilities: The Position is responsible for providing transportation service for in line with FEAPD vehicle management & safety procedures at all times. The position holder has also an over responsibility of supporting the logistics and procurement teams as required. Additional requirement safe driving resulting in the timely arrival of passengers and goods at  the destination. Vehicles operation and safety .Regularly check and maintain maintenance areas of the Vehicles .keep logbook of all driving activities, fuel and any incidents and accidents  Energetic and motivating attitude ,Excellent oral communication skills. Team Player with networking abilities .Pragmatic and solution-Orientated approach
