Programme Management Analyst (Regional Service Center for Africa)
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking to hire a Programme Management Analyst (Regional Service Center for Africa-RSCA) who works in close collaboration with both programme and operations teams in the RSCA, UNDP Country Offices, and UNDP HQ for resolving complex programme and operations-related issues, ensuring successful performance and compliance in finance and budgetary issues. This includes Regional Programme Resources Management and support to project implementations; implementation of resource mobilization strategy, effective donor reporting and facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing.
Contract type: Fixed Term Appointment (NOB) – * Fixed Term Appointment is a staff contractual modality.
Duration: One year (renewable).
Qualification and experience: M.A./M.Sc. Degree in Accounting and Finance, Public Administration, Economics or related field.
Interested applicants must have at least two years of relevant experience in providing management advisory services, programme support. and/or grants and contacts administration related fields; experience in the usage of computers and office software packages and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet, experience in handling of web-based management systems and experience working within UN agencies is desirable.
