Position Description

Working Under the supervision of the Executive  Director, the Program Officer will Primarily be responsible for coordinating and administering MIS programs including resource Mobilization and supporting projects implementation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of grant programs including grant program oversight and administration ,Grant application/Proposal review and processing ,Coordination of grant review committee ,Funders and partners ,oversee grant program evaluation and bench marking ,prepare reports and other duties as needed
• Write reports and analyses of programmatic activities
• Identify Opportunities for new program development and expansion ;
• Assist the establishment of strategic partnerships;
• Conduct research ,Compile data and prepare reports for Consideration and presentation to the Executive Director and Board of Director;
• Supervise Staff ,Volunteers and other support personnel
• Other duties as assigned by the executive Director

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ፡

• Proposal development, Grant Program management Both Development and Emergency response projects
• Strong Organizational skills and ability to Coordinate various responsibilities and prioritize Conflicting demands and deadlines
• Computer literate in Microsoft word ,Excel and Power Point
• Good writing ,analytical ,research and problem solving skills
• Experience in grant writing/fundraising
• Prepare the programs budget
• Oversee administrative duties within the programs team including database management and grants administration

Minimum Qualification

• At least 3-4 years of experience in non profit organization as program management
• At least a bachelor’s Degree inn non profit management ,Sociology, Economics ,Management ,health and related fields of studies
• Ability to work well either alone or as part of team
