1. Job Title: Manager — Banking Center – Grade “C”(For the soon to be opened Banking Centers in Addis Ababa)

Job Summary: The purpose of this job Is to plan, direct and coordinate the functions of the branch or banking unit; ensure its effective operations and achievement of the strategy of the bank and assigned banking center targets: Oversee the day to day activities, deposit mobilization, processing of credit, trade service request and other retail banking services; ensures that he activities are performed in line with policies and procedures of the Bank and NBE directives.

Educational Qualification Required: BA in Banking and Finance Accounting, Management, Business Administration or related fields.
Minimum Work Experience: 7 years of relevant experience of which 2 years as on Assistant Branch manager or in equivalent Positions.

2. Job Title: Manager — Kombolcha Banking Center (Grade C – Kombolcha)

Job Summary: The purpose of this job Is to plan, direct and coordinate the functions of the branch or banking unit: ensure Its effective operations and achievement of the strategy dl the bank and assigned banking center targets oversee the day to day activities depot mobilization, processing of credit, trade service request and other retail banking service; ensures that the activities are performed in line with policies and procedures of the Bask and NBE directives.

Educational Qualification Required: BA in Banking and Finance Accounting Management Business Administration or related fields.
Minimum Work Experience: 7 years of relevant experience of which 2 years as art Assistant Branch manager or in equivalent Positions.

3. Job Title: Principal Officer – Core Banking Support

Job Summary: The purpose of this job is to organize and lead the support team on core banking application and other In house developed software: to smoothen operation of the core banking application, in house developed software, user requirement analysis, managing and organizing the support team involves in performance appraisal to smoothen execution of EOD/EOM/EOY to creation of branch and participate in the core banking related support arid others activities as may be assigned by the supervisors.

Educational Qualification Required: BSC in Computer Science Information Systems, IT Computer/Software Engineering or in related fields.
Minimum Work Experience: 6 years of relevant experience of which 2 years as a Senior Officer or in equivalent position.
Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers etc.
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems arid scripting skills
  • Knowledge of Flex cube Core Banking application
  • Knowledge of the financial industry In relation to Core banking, cash management, Loans and deposits in product management.
  • Experience in communication across business and technology stakeholders at varying levels
  • Good technical analysis and troubleshooting skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work on multiple problems simultaneously and under the time of pressure
  • Ability to prioritize workload
  • Good team player with ability to work with others or independently to accomplish tasks.
