Job Description:
Cooperative Bank of Oromia (S.C.) wishes to invite competent applicants for the following vacant post.
1. Manager, Business Research Team
BA/MA degree or equivalent in Management/Economics/Accounting/or related business fields with a minimum of 7/5 years of relevant work experience
Competency (Knowledge, skills, and other abilities)
- Understanding of macro-economy, statistical tools, and banking industry
- Ability to see the big picture (strategic thinking) and reasoning skills
- Creative thinking and solution building capabilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Dealing with complexity
2. Cooperative Capacity Building and Advisory Expert
Master’s degree (or equivalent) In a relevant field ( Cooperatives Management and Development, Agri Business, Agricultural Marketing, Agricultural Economics, and related fields);and 3 years and above of relevant experiences.
Competency (Knowledge, skills, and other abilities)
- Demonstrated track record in providing human resource development and organizational development
- Knowledge and background in the use of statistical tools and research methods
- Extensive experience in the cooperative sector understanding the complex inter-related nature of the sector, and institutional strengthening.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and is able to negotiate with diplomacy and tact.
- Capacity to provide high quality reports in a professional and timely manner
- Exposure on delivering research outputs on the area of Cooperatives (Added Advantage)
- Age not more than 35 years
