Job Description:

Restaurant Manager Job description
As a restaurant manager for Kaya, you are responsible for the following tasks:
•             recruiting, training and supervising staff
•             agreeing and managing budgets
•             ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines
•             promoting and marketing the business
•             overseeing stock levels
•             overseeing order and supply system
•             overseeing/producing staff rotas
•             handling customer enquiries and complaints
•             taking reservations
•             greeting and advising customers
•             making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant.
•             preparing and presenting staffing/sales reports
•             assessing and improving profitability
•             setting targets
•             handling administration and paperwork
Keep an incident book
•             liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities and sales representatives
•             problem solving


Job Requirements:

Practical experience of managing a restaurant or managing a part of a hotel of a minimum of 6 years
Excellent communication skills
