Job Title: Agricultural Operations Manager
Job Location: Addis Ababa
Job Post Detail: The Agricultural Operations Manager position includes the following responsibilities:
Assist in developing business & asset needs, manage approved operating budget.
Responsible for the production, procurement, and planning of daily operations
Supervise full and part-time operations personnel through responsible training clear job assignment definition and explanation.
Monitor the work of all employees to correct deficient performance and effectively reward and develop all employees.
Communicates with all relevant employees to ensure delivery times are met
Plans, schedules, and reviews workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis
Work extended hours as needed to meet business needs
Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.
Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission — specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
