1.Donor Stewardship Specialist
Duties:
- The Donor Stewardship Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with IRFBE’s donors and supporters.
- The incumbent will execute and support fundraising strategy and donor communications to strengthen relationship with donors and diversify IRFBE’s fundraising streams.
- This will include the development of grant proposals, major gifts, and support for annual giving activities.
- The suitable candidate will participate in communications and prospecting activities involving but not limited to email, grant applications, and social media campaigns focused on growing and diversifying donor base.
- In addition to soliciting financial donations, the role requires building relationships with food suppliers, manufacturers, farmers, and grocery stores to solicit donations and secure adequate supply of high-quality and nutritious food for distribution to beneficiaries.
- Success in this position is realized through continuous improvement and demonstrated impact.
- Support the execution of fund development strategy.
- Carry out the day-to-day activities of donor stewardship and fund development as per the direction of the CEO and partnership manager.
- Manage donor database including all gift processing, ensuring a high standard of data integrity.
- Establish and nurture sustainable relationships with donors and all other stakeholders, including partners, supporters, and volunteers.
- Conduct prospect research to grow the number of donors.Spearhead donor stewardship activities including communications, marketing and social media.
- Create briefing packages for prospective donors and sponsors.
- Provide recommendations to achieve fundraising, and donation revenue targets.
- Foster a culture of engagement and philanthropy throughout the organization.
- Develop grant applications, donor proposals, and donor reports, maintaining deadlines.
- Develop various events to engage donors, raise funds and promote projects.
- Design promotional materials such as brochures and templates to promote programs and events.
- Act as a well-informed ambassador of IRFBE at presentations, meetings, and external community events.
- Conduct other tasks and assignments as requested.
Job Requirement:
Qualification:
Education:
- BA in Marketing, Business Development, Communications, Sociology and related fields.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience on door-to-door marketing, fundraising, network marketing, social media and public relations.
- Experience in social media communications and use of social media for fundraising and advocacy is considered a strong asset.
- Experience in door-to-door sales and cold calling.
Skills:
- Demonstrated success of generating revenue and securing partnership.
- Progressive track record of soliciting and securing donor support, developing high potential prospects and donors, and strengthening relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to build and strategically leverage relationships to raise funds for projects and programs
- Persuasive and professional writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Dependable, flexible, resourceful, and team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English.
- Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge and passion for food security and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are considered a strong attribute to be successful in this position.

2.Accounting and Administrative Assistant
Duties:
- The Accounting and Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative assistance and handling accounting functions on a daily basis.
- The suitable candidate will be in charge of managing financial activities, such as invoices, payroll, tax filling, tracking payments, performing data entry tasks and reconciling accounts and other administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, preparing reports and outgoing letters, maintaining calendars for the staff, and controlling inventories of store items.
- Candidate must have an excellent understanding of accounting principles and finance terminology, as well as the ability to communicate clearly with internal and external clients.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and filing documents accordingly.
- Handle Inventory management, A/R, A/P and payroll tasks.
- Provide clerical assistance to accountants when needed.
- Assist with budget preparations and tracking expenses.
- Generate financial reports on Monthly basis and as may be required.
- Enter financial information into accounting software systems for processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
- File monthly and annual tax reports to ERA.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding billing processes or payments.
- Incorporate additional detail to invoices by inputting description, quantity, unit cost and payment terms.
- Manage the CEO’s schedules by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
- Handle office administrative tasks such as inventory control, preparing outgoing letters, scheduling meetings.
- And other tasks as may be needed.

Experience:
- Minimum of two years’ experience as an Accountant and Admin Assistant.
Skills:
- Possess a strong set of basic accounting skills, such as proficiency in financial software applications, an understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) standards.
- Persuasive and professional writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Dependable, flexible, and resourceful with excellent team and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
